Alex Walker
Chair of Governors
Hello, my name is Alex Walker and I am the Chair of the Governing Body at Forefield Community Infant & Nursery School. It is my privilege to act as Chair of Governors at the school. Our Governing body are central to the workings of the school and we are passionate about our children, their education and the progress each and every child makes.
My own 2 children both attended the school many years ago, but it still feels like yesterday that I was running back and forth on the school run. I have worked with children in Sefton for many years and manage SEND, safeguarding and staff on a daily basis. My experience and background in education helps me to support the leadership team within school and offer a critical eye when needed.
I thoroughly enjoy being part of the school, and looking back, I have been involved in the Forefield Community for over 20 years, as a teacher, a parent, an auntie and now as a co-opted Governor. I like to think that I am giving my time as a Governor, to support and assist the leadership team in making school life an enjoyable experience for all children.

Stephanie Locker
Vice Chair of Governors

As Governors, we are very proud to be part of the school and we are all fully committed to working with Mrs Roberts and her staff, to ensure the children receive the best possible education.
I have been a Governor at Forefield Infants for almost 10 years. As a qualified accountant and experienced HR practitioner I am able to provide support and challenge across all areas of school.
The opinions and comments of parents and carers also form a valuable part of our governance, and we are pleased to receive these through the school, or via our elected parent governors.
